Tutto inizia nel 1957 quando il primogenito dei fratelli Laghi, Italo Laghi con la moglie Ines, rilevano e lanciano a Milano Marittima la gelateria “Nuovo Fiore”.
Italo Laghi, pionere anche della dolce vita romagnola, rileva alla fine degli anni ’50 la discoteca “Il Pineta” che diventerà la più famosa della riviera romagnola.
Visto il successo riscontrato a Milano Marittima Italo, insieme al fratello Oliviero, apre nel 1960 il “Nuovo Fiore”, a Riccione.
Nel 1962 il Cav. Oliviero lascia la gestione del “Nuovo Fiore” al padre Attilio e al fratello Adriano per aprire insieme a sua moglie Anna una gelateria a Miramare e, nel 1964, a Rimini.
Nel frattempo le due sorelle di Oliviero, Giulia e Augusta, aprono altri punti vendita a Cattolica e a Rimini.
Il segreto del successo del “Nuovo Fiore” è la produzione artigianale giornaliera, senza aggiunta né di coloranti né di conservanti e scegliendo sempre ingredienti di ottima qualità che, uniti alla frutta fresca di stagione, danno vita ad un gelato genuino e naturale.
Oliviero ha trasmesso la passione del suo lavoro a figli e nipoti che continuano ancora oggi a produrre il gelato con la stessa identica passione di un tempo.
The history of “Nuovo Fiore” started in 1957, when the oldest brother of the Laghi’s family, Italo, along with his wife Ines, took over the “Nuovo Fiore” ice-cream place in Milano Marittima.
Italo, as forerunner of the Adriatic Coast “Dolce Vita”, at the end of the ’50s he bought the “Pineta Disco”, which soon became the most famous disco in the Riviera.
After the great success in Milano Marittima, he decided to start a franchise, so he opened in 1960 another “Nuovo Fiore” creamery, with his brother Oliviero, in Riccione.
However, two years later cav. Oliviero left the place to his father Attilio and his brother Adriano, and he opened in the meantime another “Nuovo Fiore” in Miramare with his wife Anna, and later in 1964 one in Rimini as well.
The two Laghi’s sisters, Giulia and Augusta, joined the rest of the family business and opened other two stores in Cattolica and Rimini.
The secret of success of “Nuovo Fiore” as a creamery is due to the daily homemade ice-cream, colorants-free and preservatives-free. It has been made with fresh ingredients and seasonal fruits, that give the unique healthy taste of this ice-cream.
Cav. Oliviero passed on the passion for this job to his sons, daughters and grandchildrens that are still making the same ice-cream with renewed passion.
